Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 23-year-old man Tuesday in a stabbing at a hookah lounge near Kissimmee, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were called at about 2 a.m. Saturday to the Escape Hookah Lounge, 4636 W. U.S. 192 Hwy for a stabbing. There was a fight that started in the business and spilled out to the parking lot where the victim was stabbed multiple times, said spokesman Kevin McGinley.

“The victim suffered significant injuries and is still being treated for those injuries,” McGinley said in a news release.

Deputies arrested Carlos Cabral-Sandoval on an attempted murder charge, McGinley said. He was taken to the Osceola County Jail.

McKinley declined to release the victim’s name, citing Marsy’s Law, a recently enacted victim’s rights’ amendment to Florida’s Constitution. The victim is in stable condition.
